13" M2 MBA to 16" M3 Max MBP

I've got the 13" MBA with the M2 - using it for the past year. I have the 16GB, 1TB version. Main use is crap ton of browser tabs in chrome and safari as well as Camtasia video editing. Always finding RAM running out and 13" screen size is too small and I can't connect more than one screen which is very frustrating.

Contemplating moving to a 16" that will last a long time, want to get into more video editing. How much of an improvement will the M3 Max likely to be over the M2 in the air. Anyone else made this jump?

You have our blessing to spend up to $4k on a new laptop to replace the <1 year one.

Typically people wait 4-6 years before replacement. If you have a child or spouse to hand down the M2 to then go for it.
