13" MBP vs MBA

Hey guys I'm a college student and I was thinking about selling my 13" MBP with a 2.4 C2D and buying a 13" MBA witha 1.8 ghz processor and 4 gb ram.

I am worried that the processor might not be up to the task. I don't game or do a lot of video editing, just word, email, safari,hulu and pandora.

What do you guys think?

I really like the extra portability and the SSD speed.

Bottom line: don't worry! You won't notice a difference because of the lower clocked CPU. Instead, you'll notice a huge speed increase due to the SSD which is way faster than the traditional HDs. For what you'll be doing with it, the MacBook Air is too fast

I'm a college student as well and I just bought a new 13" MBA. I am selling my 13" MBP 2.53GHz. I think the new MBA is sleek and it does everything I need it to do. I kinda miss the backlight keyboard, especially in times like this when I am typing in my little studio apartment that isn't well lit, but I really don't need to see the keys to type so I can get by just fine.
Microsoft Office apps open way quicker on the MBA than on my MBP. I think you will be very happy with the MBA.

How much can I expect to sell my MBP for? I think that roughly I canget a decent ssd like 120 gb or so for my MBP at the same price for selling MBP then buying the air.

What do you think? Upgrade to ssd or go for the air?
