My original plan with the 14 release was to upgrade my 7+ to the discounted 13 mini. But now I'm in a dilemma.
13 mini:
+ just love the size. And it's the last of its kind!
+ all the same features as the regular 13
- battery anxiety. Whether it's valid or not, I have a feeling that anxiety will always be there. My usage has not been kind to the 7+ (I have to charge it by mid-day if I use it as my primary driver). I just feel the mini won't be that much better.
regular 13:
+ better battery life compared to the 13 mini
- it's the "normal" size
regular 14:
+ latest release
+ presumably 6GB of RAM
+ front facing camera with auto focus. I really dig this new feature.
+ gotta have those "photonic engine"....
- It's still A15
- The most expensive
Obviously price will be a huge determining factor once the 14 are released in where I am. The 13 mini will presumably be the cheapest option, but I'm just not confident with the battery life. The 13 is a good middle ground, but then why not just get the 14 if the pricing difference is reasonable?
Time to get opinions from a public internet forum...
