Wouldn't you know it, but after 13 months one of the ST1000LM024s (seagate) in my refurbed mini server (2012 model) fails. There is a 12 month warranty on these refurbs. I'm wondering if I should be thinking about pre-emptively replacing the second 1TB drive as it looks like Apple does not replace the drives when they refurb a mini.. this failed drive has a December 2012 DOM. Is there a system report or utility that will give me the DOM of the remaining internal drive without cracking the mini's case (the drive is in the upper bay)? The SN and rev level looks way newer than the failed drive's, Stellar's SMART report looks good, has 9878 hours power on.
