Hi to all i recently bought 13 pm and wanted to buy a 27w supported adapter. Bought the spigen powerarc arcstation pro but the charging time is way off from what i seen on youtube tests

its been 2 hours and i plugged in at 22 percent and now its at 98 , i think its fast charging because at first it was good but after 90 it goes waaaayy slower (i know after certain value it goes to slow charging ) but still its way too slow.i never used the phone while its charging

should i buy original apple 20w charger ? any other brand recommendations ?

Spigen chargers should be good quality and fully satisfactory for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I don't see a 27W charger on the Spine website though, so perhaps you are not giving the correct rating for the charger model that you are using?

Even so, there isn't any reason to think that the Apple 20W charger would be better. The 13 Pro Max will self-regulate how quickly it charges, and I don't think that there is anything unusual about what you are observing. The largest charger that will effectively reduce the charging time for your 13 Pro Max is probably around the size you are using now (see the following).

There are literally hundreds of charging comparisons posted on YouTube. I've linked a couple of examples below, if you want to understand how quickly the phone is charging when different chargers are used, whether or not a larger charger rating will result in reduced charging time, and what variables are involved.

Bottom line is that there is nothing wrong with what you are experiencing, you have a good phone and a good quality charger. Enjoy it and here is an opportunity to learn a bit more about how these devices work, if you want to watch some informative videos:

Stick to the 20W. I believe (90%+) fast charging on the iPhone is limited to 20W.
