This will be my main Mac laptop. I use Aperture, iWork, Safari, iMovie etc... not too heavy work.

I decided to upgrade before, but now I'm not too sure

So could any of you guys reckon I should or shouldn't upgrade?

PS: 4GB RAMs is a must!!!

Thanks a lot

Just to put this out there: Most people would never know the difference. I've seen my MBP processor use at over 25% like once. I don't really know how intensive those programs are, but my feeling is that you'd be fine with the worse processor.

Only if your going to really push the limits of it, since its a rather expensive upgrade.

No, b/c if it were heavy work, then look at the pro. Otherwise, the difference is too small for the price to pay.

It is only $100 though. If it were $200-$300 like what we get with MBP's, that would be a different story, but $100 doesn't sound that bad.

It's $90 for me, and I would spec it up to 2.13 GHz in a heartbeat. It's definitely not something you can upgrade to later on.

Same here. Still deciding if I'm going to get the 13.3" MBA for myself, but yes, it would definitely come with the 2.13 GHz CPU.
