Upgraded to 14.5, enabled Unlock with Apple Watch and now consistently experiencing audio drops on the APM. Issue occurs about 60-80% of the time I unlock the iPhone with the Watch while wearing a mask. The music will continue to play but no audio is heard. The audio usually comes back in after about 20-40 seconds or when I disconnect from the headphones entirely and reconnect.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues with APM on 14.5 + Unlock iPhone w/ Apple Watch enabled?

I literally came on here to see if anyone posted about this!! Exactly the same for me. It does seem to improve a bit after installing the new AirPods Pro firmware but it’s still kinda there.

I’m using the AirPod Max, interesting that it’s occurring in the Pro’s as well.

Ah somehow I read APP ? but yup it is happening indeed. Wonder if it’s a hardware thing that the devices can’t handle the sudden ‘interference’ (assuming Bluetooth) ? hopefully a software fix will suffice

I was assuming it was ‘interference‘ as well..hopefully it won’t take months for a fix because I heavily use the AirPods daily

I've got the Powerbeats pro, whenever the phone unlocks, they will sputter for a second or 2

I've been on 3 or 4 of the public betas for the past few weeks, and it's done it all along.
