14.7 Broke iTunes Sync?

Since the 14.7 update my phone will not backup in iTunes along with backing up my contacts in a separate program I use, WTH!

Which system do you use? I just tried with iPad Pro 2017 on Mojave
with both iTunes 12.9.5 and old itunes 12.6.5 and everything went smooth.
Can't try on iPhone yet because of the unlock bug, waiting for the 14.7.1.
Have you tried to restart both iPhone and computer?

So far it has been fine on my end. I was able to sync all of the media from itunes to my iphone 12 pro. If this helps, I use Windows 10 on a PC running the itunes store edition. Have not tried backing up since I use icloud but as far as media going to the phone, it went without a hitch.

I am using Windows 10, iTunes 12.11.3.17 and iPhone 14.7. Maybe I should wait for the 14.7.1

It would not hurt but have you tried a different cable, and a different USB? Just to rule them out? Might be worth a shot if you are able. Also, if you skip the backup, does the sync work then, or completely dead?

Thank you very much, that nailed it. PS, I always Apple oem cables. Learned a long time ago to do that.
