I'm seeing some conflicting reports on youtube about the speaker quality of the new 14" M2 MBP's. Some are saying that the new ones are not as good as the M1 MPB's, while others are saying that they are just as good. Has anyone here had a chance to do a comparison?

14 M1 Pro vs M2 Pro - Speaker quality difference?

I think they're probably hardware identical, but they seem to have a slightly different processing applied, some seem to prefer it, some prefer the m1.
Could be just the typical component variance that occurs. I don't know to be honest, Apple did alter some of the internals, like using smaller heat sinks and changing some of the SSDs, so its possible the speakers were altered/changed in some way.
