As the tread title states im having a hard time deciding if I should keep my M3Max vs my M1Pro.. I realize that I do not push these machines to their limits but plan on doing more of those types of projects in the future. I do not know if it is just the fact that it is new but it seems like the screen on the 14 is way brighter than the one on my 16 (probably head games) The main issue is the size. While I absolutely love the 16 it seems like I do not want to take it with me to work etc. because it's so cumbersome. Since I bought the 14 I have enjoyed carrying it around and using it more around the house too. I also notice that typing on it seems a bit easier due to the fact that there isn't as big of a foot print under my wrists/arms making it uncomfortable to use. I have some time before the return period ends and I intend on using it a lot between now and then. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. - Yes I do realize that the Max is insane overkill for my limited needs....

14 M3Max vs 16 M1Pro Drama

The M3 series is brighter by 20%, this is an advertised improvement with this gen. That said there are various software tools you can use to boost it way beyond that if this is important.
