14" MBP M2 screen artefacts after battery drain

After letting the battery drain and charging it, on first wake, the screen has residual artefacts that won't go away. It's still there now despite overlaying various windows over that section.

It's still under warranty.
Time for an appointment at the nearest brick n mortar Apple Store.

I just encountered the same exact artifact after the same conditions as you. Restarting the laptop seemed to fix it, but I’ll keep an eye for it again.

Did you end up taking your laptop to a Apple Store?

Can't reproduce it reliably every time so didn't take it to the Apple Store. Most recently the screen went purple upon recharge but it resolved within 2 minutes
