So is the 48 Mega Pixel camera only when you shoot raw? I've taken some pics and they all say 12MP
it looks a lot better actually. I compared both modes & the 48 mp RAW has visibly noticeable increased detail & clarity when zooming in & pixel peeping. when zoomed out, both look fine. the improvement with the binned 12 MP mode should be with low light scenariosI think so, based on demo iPhone experience. O_O
Tho tbf, 48MP ProRAW don't look any better than 12MP JPEG/HEIC on iPhone Pro Max camera, so I would not worry too much about it.
This is kind of annoying. I was hoping for the 48MP in JPG so I don't fill my phone with 75mb files.
Would also be nice if they gave us an option to turn raw on right in the camera.

The thing is, there’s no HEIC 48MP option. Either 12MP HEIC or 48MP ProRAW.Also. If you want to have RAW on by default just toggle this switch

I don’t think that option offers HEIC version of 48MP photos.Thats can be changed be here it seems

Settings > Camera > Formats > Apple ProRAW (enable)I don’t have this option. How do I enable it?
I’m guessing the pic means there’s still no option to turn off smart HDR?Thats can be changed be here it seems
