So the 32GB iPhone SE via ATT Go is only $149 at ATT, Wal-Mart, Target and a few others. It will work on ATT Go or Cricket Wireless right out of the box.

If you were going to compare something directly to the SE and staying within that price what might you guys recommend?

Seen the ZTE Blade Spark for $99 which was usbc, 5.5" display and fingerprint reader.

Any other good budget phones? $150 Or less.

Thanks everybody! Yea I placed order for pickup tomorrow. Hoping it lasts quite sometime. I also liked the 32GB of internal storage. Most of the Android devices had expandable options but half the internal storage or less. Main factor was the SE I'm hoping will get updates for quote awhile. Something not so certain on a budget Android handset.

Plenty of phones with much nicer specs for the price, but the build quality of the SE is the best for the price.

My daughter and wife both have had SEs since they came out. I had a 6S+ and they basically all have the same camera. You won't get that on a cheap Android phone. You will have to watch your space and not let it get too bloated... no taking 500 pictures of the cats a couple times a day.

Obviously you said you already made the decision, but screen size is probably the main thing to think about. The android device that you used as an example is going to be much bigger, that may or may not be a good thing depending on how you feel about the size of a phone. If you like the small screen size I don’t think there are any comparable android devices.

As others have indicated, the iPhone SE is as cheap as you're going to find it for that price point with a great form factor and battery life. However, it comes down to which operating platform you really want. That's how I would base my decision, aside from the price point.

I have found using google photos to backup and purge the photos on the device to be a big help with storage!

This is what I did. I got a 128GB SE delivered yesterday and after using it half the day, was surprised that iOS 11 didn't download to the phone. As soon as I remembered the TVOS profile, I installed it. My phone is on 10.3.1. I don't want iOS 11.

It will only download if it's manually triggered or plugged in and connected to wifi while not being used.
