15 inch macbook pro superdrive struggling?

Hey everyone,

just got a macbook pro 15 inch and after installing win7 I noticed that the dvd drive makes an akward sound and also looks like it struggles when inserting a dvd and also when ejecting.

I realize this could be entirely subjective but just wanted to see what others thought about this.

For better discussion regarding this drive noise you could post make and model of your drive as apple usually installs more than one model in their computers.

My superdrive is a MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-868.

I just tested out my wife's 13 inch macbook and it appears to undergo a similar process.

I guess I am just not use to the "trayless" drives yet.
