My Pacific Blue 12 Pro Max just got delivered! I'm so happy that it matches so well with the blue silver MagSafe stand I printed for it.

To celebrate the 12 Max and 12 Mini launch I'm offering MacRumors readers 15% off the Monolith for the next week!

Use the link below or use code MACRUMORS15 at checkout.

Enjoy your 12's everyone!

What do you use for the weight in the weighted one?
And with the non-waited one if I pull on the phone with the whole stand lift off my desk? in that case would you recommend getting the weighted one if I want to stand to remain on my desk?

The Weighted Monolith uses a proprietary zinc and copper counter balance. If you prefer effortless one-handed removal, then yes I would recommend the weighted version. The first order is printing right now so I should have photos of it tonight.

If you pull on the phone without pushing down on the regular Monolith, it will stay attached to the phone. One handed release is possible, you just have to push the phone off with your fingers. This is the same way to release an iPhone 12 from Apple's own MagSafe Duo charger.

I don’t see an option for weighted or non-weighted on the site...

Pre-orders sold out! The new listing is up.

Looking forward to photos of the weighted one. Thanks.

Introducing the Weighted Monolith. I had to make the counter balance much larger than I originally thought. It weighs 2lbs! I also redesigned the dock to eliminate the lower opening.

A piece of reusable non-marking adhesive on the non-weighted Monolith also can provide one handed release. I understand why some people don't want to use adhesive, so here is the Weighted Monolith!

Thank you for your interest!

Thank you so much for all of the support! We actually broke Etsy with too many orders. I am shipping dozens of orders each week!

To continue being listed we've had to make our own website, so I wanted to let you know about it and share the same MACRUMORS15 discount for our new page.

Use the link below and you'll see the discount at checkout, if not just type in discount code MACRUMORS15

Thanks again!

Are the ones on the site weighted?

The weighted ones are weighted and take much longer to produce, the non-weighted ones are non-weighted and are much faster to produce.
So no difference or benefits of having either one? Thanks for the speedy response, thinking about purchasing a couple, lol.

Oh nice :) Well the weighted one makes one handed MagSafe removal a whole lot easier. Some people prefer it so that they don't have to learn how to use an unweighted dock haha :p
