""Bought a new 15 Pro Max yesterday. Using it to shoot video, I discovered that when zooming in, audio is also altered or zoomed in. I like to shoot live music and having the audio dramatically change based on lens focal length and zooming pretty much ruins videos. Anybody else have this problem? Is there a work around or settings solution?
* Read about a work around to be able to keep video recording volume constant and not change when zooming in or out. Settings>Camera>Turn off Record Stereo Sound option This will eliminate the audio zooming but unfortunately also results in mono audio. Much preferable however, when constant audio is needed. It would be great if Apple offered an update which would allow user to turn off audio zooming but still allow stereo recording.
