I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max. In the last month my phones battery has gone to crap. I have to charge two to three times a day. What gives with this? Anyone else experiencing huge battery drain? When I got this phone last November I could get 2 days out of it if I didn’t use it much. Now I’m not getting through the day. I’m not sure if iOS 18 is now contributing extra to it. But I’m not getting 12 hours.

My iPhone 15 Pro Max battery was just as bad in the couple of months before replacing it. If you plan on keeping that iPhone, I'd invest in having the battery replaced.

Same phone as you, but my battery health is 98%. Even still, I've noticed a huge hit on my battery life since upgrading to IOS 18. Usually in a day I'd drop about from 100% to 60% from my normal use. Now it's like 100% to 40%.

I normally don't adopt the first release of software because there's always quirky behavior that still needs to be worked out, but this time I did it early. Battery life is usually in the top 3 issues at each big release. I'd say hang in there and wait for the first couple patches and see if that helps.

Another example behavior I noticed is sometimes my touchscreen doesn't respond after repeated attempts. I usually have to hit the power button and then try again. This has only happened since upgrading to IOS 18.
