For myself I’ll wait to see what they showcase on Sept 9 to decide. If the leaks are mostly right, it doesn’t seem too exciting. This may be the first year on the IUP that I don’t upgrade.

I upgraded from 14 PM to 15 PM for the 24 MP default photos (I do notice the difference) and smoother UI. I will hold off this year because I don’t agree with the spreading out of upgrades to the camera system (48 MP main in the 14 series, 5x telephoto in the 15, 48 MP UW on the 16, 48 MP telephoto in the 17) and the battery health has not been great on iPhones since the 12 series. Not complaining, just an observation of a mature platform & I’ll put the money I’d typically spend on tax elsewhere.
