Hi,

I bought a 15 pro today full price from Apple and I haven’t opened it yet because I’m trying to decide if I should get the regular 15 instead and I kind of regret not doing the Apple Card monthly payments instead. I currently have an iPhone 12 and I mostly use the phone for web browsing, phone calls and texts and some apps as well. I do like the idea of Always on display and pro motion and USB-C because my of devices are now USB-C as well and I would probably use AOD quite a bit but I’m not sure if I would notice 120hz or not for my usage. I do want to keep whichever phone I upgrade to until Apple no longer supports it so I’m leaning towards keeping the Pro to “future proof” the device somewhat. Which phone would you choose in my situation? Lastly, when does the trade in kit usually arrive after picking up the phone from the store? Thank you

Well, I did the same as you. I paid full price because I need my phones to be unlocked for going to France using a 2nd line.

I came from a 12 too and I'm a light user as well.

Now, when low power mode is on you loose the 120hz rate and alway on display.

I feel for us the camera is a huge jump and some features like wifi 6e and threads are nice to have.

Maybe the regular 15 is good enough for us, especially after trading our 12.

I think I will do that next week.

Also, I know the 15 Pro got lighter but coming from a 12 regular, the 15 pro is heavier and I feel it after a few minutes in my hands.
