Curious if everyone is having this kind of reliablity with AirTags?

Before using AirTags, I used Samsung SmartThings (on Samsung devices) and some other third parties. They often didn't work when you needed to find a device, just completely failing.

I've been using (16) AirTags since late 2021 and zero of them have ever failed to report a location, died from handling or wear, etc. The only annoyance has been the bitter battery coating issue.

I trust the v1 AirTags and am not sure I can automatically expect the v2 to be as reliable, given the AirPods Pro 2 to 3 "upgrade"

I use about 9 of them, two of them are on my cats, so those have certainly taking a beating as they roll about dragging it over concrete, getting it very wet etc, my cats have been wearing those for a few years, and they still work flawlessly and just needed the battery replacing.

All of them so far have been working fine.

I have two, first one was replaced after 6 months under warranty for going through batteries too quickly - no issues since and that was over a year ago now :)

The second AirTag, must be up for its first battery replacement, it's about 15 months old.
