16-inch M1 MAX launched massive disk writes

The system version is 12.2.1. Yesterday, I accidentally discovered that the system program launchd writes 79.41GB, and kernel_task writes 4.22GB. They are only system applications. Why do they have such large read and write operations? Is this normal behavior? Have you encountered the same situation?

About half an hour after turning on the computer, another 1.07G has been written, and other system applications are also continuing to write.

They are only system applications.

They aren't just system applications. They are low level operating system tasks that touch everything that happens on your machine. That's normal. My kernel task report 1.1TB written and everything is fine.

Glad to hear that because I have kernel task 202GB written

I'm experiencing same issues with high numbers in disk write caused by launchd and kernel_task in my 14" M1 Max. I was in 12.2.1 and tried a couple times "Erase all content and settings" with same similar results. In 4 days, kernel_task wrote 8GB and launchd more than 5GB into disk.

Digging around with the post mentioned by @TiggrToo I reached to find that it was launchd.log it was writing the most.

Yesterday night I updated to 12.3.1 and still didn't reboot from the initial install and launchd has writen 900 Mb so far in 14h, despite being real used just 2-3h. Right now I'm experiencing same issues as here

My launchd.log looks like this constantly and I think it's one of the causes that it's writing to disk that often:

Any solution? Any workaround? Cause the ones explained in the thread I linked they're not working for me, I can't see a list of temporary files I could delete
