Since the M1 Pro 16-inch was the battery champ last time, and the M1 Max got less battery life because of the extra GPUs -- it's safe to assume the same applies this year with the M2 Pro vs. the M2 Max.
But does anybody know how long the battery life is in real world use this year on the M2 Max vs. the M1 Pro. In other words, does the better power efficiency this time around give the M2 Max comparable battery life to the M1 Pro? If the slightly shorter battery life of last year's Max chips has been improved enough to be as good as last year's Pro chips, that would be a huge improvement.
Anybody with real-world experience to share in this regard?
