Since receiving my M1 Pro, right after release, I have noticed that the speakers don't seem overly loud. What does come through is very clear and nice, but for video content to be heard well, volume needs to be near or at 100%. Is there any way to tell if the problem is with my speakers, or potentially unreasonable expectations? I thought about downloading an app on my phone to get a decibel reading, but I don't know what to compare the results with. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance :)

I do see several posts left speaker issues, but I don't see much about them being too quiet.
Edit: typo

Same for me. They aren't much louder than the speakers have been the last few years. The ones I checked at the Apple Store were the same.

I suppose there's equalizer software you can use to make them louder, but I haven't looked into it. For critical listening I use headphones anyway.

Ok, that's good to know. Yeah, I also use headphones or HomePods for music. However, I was pretty impressed by the Dolby Atmos experience with some music--the projection is pretty cool.
