Hi,
I have decided to buy the new 16" MBP but I need some advice to decide which configuration is best for me.
M1pro 16core or M1max 24core? 16gb or 32gb RAM? 500gb or 1Tb SSD?
I am an architect and I mainly use Archicad for 3d and render, Autocad 2d, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Lightroom) and entry-level Vray.
Any advice is welcome. Thank you.

It’s a business machine. Max everything. I assume you charge thousands for your services. Maxing every option will cost just pennies compared to what the machine will make for you.

16" over 14", the screen size allows 2 pages displayed The best 16" Config starts with M1 Max/32GB RAM and 1 TB SSD. You have options of more ram and storage if needed.

I know that max everything is the best solution, but I want to find the correct balance between the performance (for my use) and the price (for my budget). I don't want to spend a lot of money for an overkill MBP for me, I prefer save some money to buy an external good monitor.

What do you think about this configuration 16" M1max 24core 32gb RAM and 500gb SSD ?
I'm finding the correct balance for me between performance and budget. Thanks.

1TB SSD for $200 is a no-brainer, IMO, especially for a business machine. I have 512GB and wish I had got 1TB. You do not want to fill an SSD more than 90%
