160GB 7200 vs 200GB 7200

which one is will be faster in the macbook pro?
I heard that 160 will be faster because it will need less time to load the whole drive.
Am I right?

I will get macbook pro 2.2 with 2G Ram and 120GB HD.
SO I want to updated to
4 G Ram
and
The best of these two hard drive.
and do I have to chose Hitachi or Seagate.

You will not notice a difference in speed. Decide based on how much space you actually need. Additionally, don't buy the RAM from Apple at purchase. It's sold at SUCH a premium. Just buy the RAM elsewhere.

to tell speed look at the seek times on the drives

they're probably about the same though..i'd get what you need based on what capacity you need

I will get the Ram From www.crucial.com
4 G RAM?? I think those is the best .

So which one do you think is better
120 5400
or
100 7200

I only need 40 G or 60 GB

but I want the fastest one

And I wouldn't buy the ram directly from crucial, there are many other better and cheaper retailers out there with 4GB of RAM, namely Newegg.com and Frys.com. I think Fry's still has 2x2GB OCZ Ram for $179, which is exactly what I have in my MBP right now.

does is work fine?
and do you notice the different between 2G Ram and 4G Ram?
