So, I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but I just wasn't sure how to phrase my problems in the search.
My iPod has been working great for months. Suddenly, when I plug my iPod in, I get an error message saying "iTunes cannot read the contents of the ipod. Go to the summary tab in the iPod preferences and click resotre to return the iPod to factory settings".
I clicked "get info" on the iPod icon on my desktop and it says 79 gigs free. So I know my music is on there. I turned on my option to view hidden files as well and I can see the music. So, my question is a two parter:
1) Anyone know why this happened?
2) Is there ANY way I can rectify this simply and without having to put the hidden files on my ipod? Renaming everything from those four-letter extensions is such a pain in the ass.
Thanks for reading!
