iPod 16GB iPhone coming! Foreshaddowing a 32 GB iPod Touch?

What are the chances there will be a 32 GB iPod touch soon? I just think, they´ll want to offer some incentive for the iPod Touch if the iPhone has as much storage. 32 GB Flash-memory may be a little expensive but creative offers a ZEN-player with that ammount.

The iPhone 16 GB iPhone is rumored to be 599, so it´s also possible, they´ll leave the lineup as it is.

Yeah, 200$ for 8 more gigs is hardly a deal in my book. This doesn't make much sense though, because if the iPod Touch 16gig is the same price as the 8gig iPhone, then shouldn't the 16gig iPhone logically only cost 100$ more?

haha, im on the little "Chat now" thing on the online Apple Store asking the people if they know anything about a 16GB iPhone at 1.30 and they get all freaked out, they're saying "what?" "who told you that?" "why would there be?" "well the answer is no"

I didnt even think they were real people..... i could so get a job being one of them.

I did the same thing, but I pretended I wanted to buy the new Penryn MBP, which was "already out". The person was like "where do you see this" and "we have not updated the MacBook Pro"....I just laughed...

Whoever guessed 599 hasn't done their math. You can't simply convert the European prices, as they are both generally higher and include taxes. The 16GB price is 27% higher, putting it clearly into the 499 range...

The cheek of it though - asking existing iPod touch owners to shell out £12.99 for the additional apps
