16GB M1 with 1TB SSD vs 2TB SSD

Im going with the 16GB unified memory and debating going with the 1TB ssd or the 2TB ssd. Does anyone know the the Macbook will have better performance/speeds with the 2TB vs the 1TB?

I have a 1TB 2017 MBP. Thinking of trying a 512GB MBPA. They seem almost as good as the pros now. It's the keyboard I'm worried about.
