16inch 2019 AMD Radeon 5500M Macbook Pro - How to debug performance loss?

I used to occasionally game on my machine on Bootcamp, had good performance, but recently lost performance, same on Mac OS as well

On Geekbench 6.3.0 - Metal Score - I receive 8500 https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/compute/2570039 - which seems to be very low, I managed to find this result as comparison which is 30000: https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/compute/4758226

Looking at sudo powermetrics, can't see anything abnormal while the test runs, and I've run it numerous times:

CPU Thermal level: 89
GPU Thermal level: 39
IO Thermal level: 39
Fan: 4555.41 rpm
CPU die temperature: 66.92 C
GPU die temperature: 66.00 C
CPU Plimit: 0.00
GPU Plimit (Int): 0.00
Number of prochots: 0

Any ideas on how to approach this issue, pinpoint the problem?

Meanwhile on a CPU test:

CPU Thermal level: 100
GPU Thermal level: 50
IO Thermal level: 50
Fan: 5580.1 rpm
CPU die temperature: 68.43 C
GPU die temperature: 61.00 C
CPU Plimit: 0.00
GPU Plimit (Int): 0.00
Number of prochots: 0

MacBook Pro (16-inch Late 2019) - Geekbench

Benchmark results for a MacBook Pro (16-inch Late 2019) with an Intel Core i9-9880H processor.

I get 20% low results, but it's not alarmingly low as the GPU situation

Thinking of opening the mobo, replacing the pastes, de-dusting and at the same time doing all the VRM cooling pad mods etc. and sacrificing lap usability - if I'm not missing anything obvious, like a pram/smc reset etc. or a way to pinpoint another issue

So I think it's a mix of heating, throttling and 2019 MBP shenanigans repeated
