16inch M1 Max fans under light load are audible, is that normal

Hi guys,

so I have MacBook Pro 16inch and I've noticed lately that under light load, when I set my ear close to the fans, I can hear them working. Now I know what I'm doing is super OCD but watching all youtube reviewers saying that it's difficult to even start the fans on this machine got me thinking if it's supposed to be inaudible most of the time. Can anyone confirm that they hear their fan on the laptop while doing light tasks, such as recording audio or downloading couple of files at the same time. Thanks

I'd highly encourage you to get the ear muff accessory.
