16x internal dvd drive?

Does anyone know if we are likely to see an internal 16x dvd writer in a laptop soon, and what are the reason's for it not being included so far?

No idea when we might see them in Apple laptops. Apparently there's not any thin enough (yet?). I doubt they would put a 16x drive in there, they would probably just go blueray when they do.
