17.1 fixes photo date search

17.0.2's date search within photos was essentially broken. The results that came back were not correct. 17.1 beta 1 seems to have fixed that.

Noticed that as well, but they still changed the order of results.

For example, searching 1 year ago, it displays 3 days ahead first and you scroll backwards to 3 days before the current date a year ago. Before it was opposite if I recall correctly and that made more sense to me.

Really sloppy on Apples part to have such a large bug released on ios17, amazing they don't test such a simple feature.
when is 17.1 expected to be released ?

Thanks for confirming it appears to be fixed in iOS 17.1. I really rely upon this search feature and its been frustrating without it. Hoping for iOS 17.1 to release here soon.
