Only mainly IOS 17 and apps are not well tuned for a17 pro yet can explain how some people have random heat gate experience while other are totally fine.
a17 pro has almost M1 power so no way it can be ver cool, and it is that powerful with that much heat that a lot of apps should need to tune so that there would not be instantly finish calculating and loading a lot of stuff at once and make it super hot.
App developers also just have like a week to rewrite codes yet and no doubt there are bugs everywhere. IOS 17 seem like not really mature at all too.
If it is hardware a17 pro issue then the heat gate should be much worse and consistent.
Running such a powerful chip means may be battery is only good for 2 years or less instead of 3 years. Well AAA gaming, best phone video recording, should be best 24MP photo experience (Samsung shutter lag cannot compare), all these may worth the money for some people. 14 pro series battery is more like 2 years, 15 pro series should be like 10% worse.
