This is the buzz associated when I turn down the brightness on my screen. It gets gradually bigger when increasing brightness, and it isn't present at full brightness or at zero brightness. Should I take the computer back? I ordered it online....

17" C2D MBP Has Display Buzz!

Hi Ya! I have more or less the same problem! I onw a 17" cd2 matte, and have a very very very quietly buzz on the right side of the screen, near the on/off button. As I said, it is this quite that I can't hear it unless I go very close to it with my ear. Nothing changes when I turn down my brightness.
On the other hand, I had exactely the same problem you have with your mbp but I had it on my old pc (acer travelmate). It became so loud that anyone near to me coul hear it when I was working. The screen got very hot on his central down part, near to the brand logo (the noise seemed to come from there, in fact). I sent it once to repair, acer sent it to me after on week and said they replced the lcd inverter but when it came back nothing changed!!! so I had to send it back again the same they, they made me wait two weeks and then changed it to a new one (the replaced the hd with my first one of course). I never had that problem again on my old acer, but now I'm quite scared about my new mbp. I also ordered it online.
Can anyone help us or suggest something? Thanks!
