17 inch imac refurb??

My aunt is thinking about buying the 17 inch imac refurb.. for 849... is this an ok decision?? She doesnt do much with the computer.. mostly email and music downloading.. it will be her first mac... Is this ok for her+??

that is more than sufficient. and a little DVD watching should be fine. it may be worth spending an extra 100 and getting the 949 one with a SD, just in case she wants to burn some DVDs and stuff.

is that the only difference?? She doesnt need a dvd burner because if she really needs to do any dvd burning, which will be very rarely.. she has it on her other computers..she is just contemplating to wait for the intel revisions.. do you think the intel switch will gain anything for her or just buy it now
