Last night I left my MBP 17" chrger in my office. By the time I went home the battery level was25%. I used it till it was zero. I went back to my office today and plugged in the charger and the laptop took more than normal to wake up from sleep. Now its been almost 8hrs and the battery indicator is still at 0%. It reads 10:00 until full. The green battery indicator on the battery itself is not blinking. Also if I unplug the charger the computer will turn off and after I plug the charger, it will reboot/restart.
Do you guys know what is the problem?
Hardware or software?

I just sold my Macbook and I drained the battery before shipment. The buyer has the same issue right now. When did you buy your laptop?

I'd give resetting the SMC a try.

If not, see if you can play around with different chargers and/or different batteries to see if you can figure out where the issue is. It may be a bad DC-In board though.
