17" MBP, Edu Discount & iPod

Hey everyone... I GOT IT!!! Finally...

My MBP came with the large adapter but the manager at the apple store said he'd swap out my adapter when they receive the new ones at the store.

Anyway, I had a couple of questions,

1. How much do you think I can get on ebay/craigslist for my ipod nano 4GB?

2. What is your opinion on the most popular color that people want?

3. I have an "old" iMac G5, I upgraded the memory to 1GB + 256MB that was originally in there and added airport wireless card. How much do you think I can sell this for?

Moving on to your questions:

1. Probably around $150-175 for the Nano. Don't expect to be able to sell for a full $200, as most people would simply go to the store and pick one up. It has to be reasonably priced so that people are willing to buy from you.

2. My favorite is silver simply because it never goes out of style. However, the blue and pink are both pretty popular as far as I know. However, haven't you already bought it? How are you going to get a different color now?

3. No idea. Look on ebay and see if there are similar specs on another iMac.

THANKS!!! Well, I figure I can get some opinions on what color is the most popular and exchange my ipod nano. I haven't opened it yet... I did end up getting silver to cater to both girls and guys. I heard red was a popular color.

Ahhh...but be careful with that. The iPod Nano serial number on the receipt has to be with the computer purchase. If you exchange, you won't have both on the same receipt anymore.
Red might have been a good color to get, very "in"(as if Americans really care. Most of them don't know what it even means).
Silver should be good. I don't think you'll have a problem selling that. Good luck.

But you need to cut the UPC from the iPOD box? That means you have to open it first before selling,....

I know that... That' why I wanted to get more suggestions on which color would be most popular before actually opening the box and then selling it.

Any more answers to my questions? I'd really like more answers.
