They polished the 17" MBP with a higher resolution but havent put in the leds yet! Is this worth it? Worth not having a led display? In what ways can led be better apart from the mercury issue! Would one consider buying the 15" due to led rather than the 17" without it?

*if* you can stick a LED screen into a earlier gen MBP you're going to need the full screen enclosure. The enclosure for SR gen is different.
