I just spoke to the Apple store off Grafton Street in Dublin and they're getting two MBP 17" in at the end of the week if not Monday. I got my name on the second one but sadly it's the matte version so I probably will decline the offer. If anyone in Dublin is looking for the stock 17" MBP in matte then private message me your mobile number and I'll tell them to contact you when they ring me!

I ordered a 17" Macbook Pro early on the 24th and my expected ship date is Nov. 7th and estimated delivery date is Nov. 13th. If accurate, it will be a little over 3 weeks from my order date before I see it.

Great, when we start seeing them in the stores that will mean ours will be shipping soon. I think Nov 7 was the earliest ship date quoted for the online orders placed on Oct 24. (I'm talking about the 17" C2D)

Wow wow wow, theres an Apple Store in Dublin!?

Ordered my 17incher the day after they got out (y'know to avoid waiting times!) and they told me it would be less than 10 days on the phone. The website says its 21 days ...nice.

I have been following another thread and some people are claiming that Apple has charged their credit cards. These means that 17" MBP are going to be shipping soon. If that is the case it looks like 7 business days is accurate.
