Are you guys stumbling across any of the issues with the 15" ones? The whine, heat, screen, keys, anything else?
Please let me know! Thanks

Then don't get one.
Some of us want big. Hence the orders placed for them.
I think he's questions was "are you happy with your 17 inch MBP" not "Is your MBP too big?"
Sorry to bitch - I'm just tired of reading post after post about it being too big. Look at the specs on it - it's smaller and lighter than Dell's 17" Core Duo.
Damn... if it's too big for you - don't buy one.

wickedG35 said:Yeah, that is all I keep hearing. I am content with a 15" but a 17" would definitely be nice. I think because it still stayed 1 inch thin (like the defective 15" MBP I had which I liked), I decided to go ahead and just get the 17".
I don't need maximum portability and I get an extra hour of battery life (important to me) over the 15"

I hope to get rid of my Powermac and Dell so I can get an Intel Powermac and have all three OS's booting from it.
Plus I want to see everybodies face when I whip out a 17"MBP in a class ull o Windows anboys/girls......hehe
zorg said:I guess its all personal preference. But the only people that would like 17" is people that use this as a desktop computer, and don't really move around with it.
