17" PB Gone

All, I just ordered my Quad, and noticed that the only PB is 12" now...At least on the developer's hardware store. I suspect the main store will soon too run out.

Canadian store still has 17" and 12", but the 15" is gone.

Double checked... ADC Store no longer has the 17 for sale, but the add does reference it... Strange looking ad.

so Apple better get on those 17'' and 12'' MBP so people who need the 17'' might not buy a Mac, and 12'' might go iBook, or no Apple

I think "obsolete" is a pretty strong word for your machine...maybe not current anymore, but not obsolete (although some will argue that all computers are obsolete as soon as you buy them).

I dunno..

I have an iBook 600 that is becoming very limited on usability, as well as a TiBook 550 and an iMac 450. My wife and daughter use the TiBook, and the iMac for internet stuff, but not much else... I am a bit more agressive with digital video, and nothing below a 1.2 G4 Dual would work for me.

Maybe I ask too much?

I noticed the Apple Store near me no longer sells them as of yesterday. All the mini's had gone also (couldn't see a single one but I did see a card with the tech spec on with price on a table).

i previously thought that we would have iBook upgrades on tuesday. but with this, i have to say that i think that apple's entire line of MBPs and MB (ibooks) will switch next tuesday. i'm probably wrong though.

I just have a question. Where did this whole 13.3" start up. I like the idea of it, but can't figure out where it came from. Why not a 13.1" or a 13.2, 13.4, etc. did i miss something like apple having a shipment of a few million into their factory or something?

EDIT: to clarify above, i mean not only, iPod stuff is coming too.

I am not sure. Just heard about it somewhere. But hey let me start something.

Apple will anounce the Brightest and Sharpest Screen yet: The MBP with 17.3141592654" LCD. So crisp they could not round it up.
