Has anyone noticed that app previews in the app switcher seem overly saturated since the update to 18.1?! When I open the app it reverts to the normal colors..

example below (look at the photo…)

I have noticed that my home screen wallpaper has become oversaturated since I updated to iOS 18.1 yesterday. Even after I preformed a hard reset, it still happens with all the wallpaper I have on my phone.

That‘s not new with 18.1… I have noticed that with earlier versions as well - was on iOS17 too if I‘m not mistaken

My screenshots appear too saturated as well as some previews in the app switcher. Gotta send them to myself over AirDrop and apply a sRGB profile in the Preview app to get them back to normal. 18.2 beta 1

Strange, I’ve never encountered this issue before and I’m really sensitive to stuff like this 😅

Same here, when I take a screenshot of a photo in my camera roll it becomes oversaturated, looks really bad. Same for wallpapers, sometimes they look oversaturated on the homescreen, but on the lockscreen they look normal. And thats with 18.1.1 for me. On a previous update it was the other way around, looked normal on the lockscreen but desaturated on the homescreen. I hope they fix this soon.

The app switcher over saturation has been a thing since iOS 16 at least.

It goes away if you exit the app switcher and go back to it. Sometimes. (At least on iOS 16/17)

I have the same problem, after switching from 17.7.2 to 18.2 I immediately noticed that color of signal indicator, battery indicator, fonts changed. I'm using the same settings, wallpaper on old new iOS version :(
