18.2: Siri's voice is different / inconsistent voice

The voice in the Settings>Siri voice is different from the new 18.2 glowing show screen voice (which is much more natural sounding).

Why are there two different Siri voices? This is very uncharacteristically Apple for something that is so inconsistent.

Siri sounds sooo depressed when speaking in iOS 18.2.

Agreed! Thats what I use. She just sounds "uninterested" when responding to requests. its like "do I have to?"

I'm American, but prefer "British (Voice 2)" but haven't noticed any difference with 18.2
