It really depends on what you do with your iPad. Does it currently work well?I meant is it worth upgrading to.
I found I can get a good a little bit of money for my used iPad 5th generation 9.7 inch if I trade it in to Apple. Is it worth doing this and getting a iPad 8th generation 10.2 inch brand new for $184 total plus tax ?
My iPad 5 functions just fine as a typical user. Never needed the pencil. 9.7" size is great. So from my perspective, ok as is.
Mine’s fine too. But I figure I can get the new one for $200. No harm, no foul?
Yeah, sure. The iPad 8 would be great, and you'd be all set for future IOS versions for quite a while. Also the faster processor would have better longevity along with improved screen size.
Yep. Looking forward to it. But I was thinking it would get here in two days. Nope. A month. Oh well.
Really either way would have been a good decision. Keep still well-functioning iPad 5 and save some money, or upgrade now and enjoy improved features and longevity.
Honestly, my 5 is fine. But ya gotta upgrade sometime, especially for the software updates. I went from the 3 (pretty much unusable) to the 5. I reckon I’ll be content for several years With the 8.
That's with a trade in. I got a 7th gen last year for about $175 from Bestbuy with a trade in of an old iPad mini.where are you guys finding new ipads for less than $200?
I just ordered exactly what you described. Delivery date is first or second week of November, unfortunately. Did you pull the trigger? If so, what was your delivery date? Thanks.
