I’m sorry but I didn’t even know these things existed today until I saw a comment on here from a user saying he owns 2….
WHY on EARTH would you want to pay £19 for what is basically a glorified microfibre cloth, and you can buy a pack of ten of those from Tesco for about £3. Who buys these things ? I seriously face palm at the ridiculousness of it all and this is clearly Apple pulling consumers pants down because they know people will blindly just buy it. I mean what’s next ? ….apple toilet roll?
it’s also funny that there is a compatibility section……….for a cloth. Anyone who has purchased one of these should share what you are all smoking

Man you’re late to the party with this news.

This cloth is especially made for the nano texture display.

It’s truly an excellent cloth for the nano texture display and there is nothing better.

If if you don’t have the nano texture display you don’t need it.

It’s still great even for glossy screens though.

You won’t know until you feel the weight and texture of it yourself.

It’s just a decent polishing cloth. It’s not made especially for anything.

Unless you’re suggesting apple went out of their way with textiles engineers to design a fabric which works for a specific display. Rather than just buying cloths and printing an apple on it.

It literally ships included with the two Apple displays with nano texture and doesn’t ship with the glossy versions of the same displays. It was made for them and when you use it compared to another cloth you will understand.

Reading Apple’s website and using the brain isn’t hard.

My ray ban glasses were shipped with a cloth.

I’m fairly confident that cloth wasn’t made specifically for my glasses.

No wonder apple make so much money 😂

OP there are people here who would buy Apple toilet paper at £4 a roll and claim it's the best thing they've ever wiped their butts with. Apple has these disciples like no other mfr I've ever seen.

I'm not keen on the substandard microfiber cloths they sell in cheap stores like Poundland and Home Bargains because they quickly loose their softness, but a visit to a detailing website like CleanYourCar shows they sell packs of three large (16"x16") premium-grade Chemical Guys 'Workhorse Professional' buffing towels for half that price, highly reviewed by professional valets and detailers. That's where my money would go.

Actually it does. It came with my Pro Display XDR and I got the glossy version.

With that being said, it is an excellent cloth and there are other cloths for screens that cost similar. Its not comparable to just any old microfiber cloth out there.

True. It’s actually two high quality cloths stitched together back to back.
