You can't just get rid of it. It's various saved files caches and other crap that keeps your ipad runnig how you Want it.
 
Indeed, this information is the save data and application support files needed by both your system and applications.

You don't want your applications to feel incomplete now, do you? :(
 
Press and hold the power and home button together until the black screen appears then release if you saw the apple logo. Let see now your "other" if it still the same?
 
I know when i was adding a bunch of music earlier I saw the Audio & Other amounts climbing together.
My guess is that iTunes album art accounts for some of this "other" as well..

It is the same.

Are GoodReader and PDF Reader Pro files showing up there? Maybe that's contributing because its up to 1.05GB now, but I am downloading stuff into those apps like crazy... :confused:
 
It's a virus. The only way to rid yourself of it is total immersion in a bucket with 2 parts gin, 1 part vodka and some vermouth. Drop your iPad in there and shake it....don't stir.

Should be ok after that. Cheers.

Tried that just now, but drank it before I could drop the iPad in. Miraculously, its all good now. Everything is just fine! :eek:
