I remember my first dealt with Apple product was the Apple II back when I was in grade school. I would skip recess and wait for my name to be next for Oregon Trail. This was when the game was composed of green moving bits on a screen but it kept my interest. Between grade school and college I remember using the 2008 Mac Pro machines in my design classes and I knew I really wanted one of those despite it’s 42.4 pound stature. I knew I had to have one. I’ve own that summer I saved enough to get a 8-core model then a 2010 Mac Pro as well.
I was never a hardcore user and Adobe products didn’t really need all that power but I wanted something sturdy. Over the years I’ve owned several Mac Pro’s, MacBooks and their Pro lines and nothing really disappoints. Even the late 2013 Mac Pro is still plenty sufficient for me but my Adobe software is going to be obsolete with the next OS X upgrade.
Despite the internal storage of previous Mac Pros I really it’s current size and build quality of it and of Apple’s products. I support Apple hardware and software. Yes they may be behind in innovation compared to the competitors but I do enjoy the reliability aspect of it.
