Please, only one knowlegable person respond, then this thread can be deleted/ wastelanded. I searched, couldnt find consistent answers.

I got my 3Gs replaced last night due to a broken dock in my iPhone. I've been letting it sit on its initial out of box charge all night and it is now at 13%.

Should I let it die COMPLETELY or should I charge it to 100% now?

Is there a good percentage to start charging it at? 10%? 0%? Now?

Thanks in advance!

Let it go to 0%, that way the operating system and the battery itself both know its at 0%, then start recharging it uninterrupted to 100%( you can still use the phone as long as its plugged in)

I know you only wanted one answer, but generally it is a bad idea to completely drain LiOH batteries.
