I am trying to get an impression of the longevity of the the battery in the first-gen MBPs.

What is your cycle count and design capacity? How often do you perform condition charges/discharges? How long have you let it sit empty, full, or unused for an extended period?

I have an early 2015 13". The battery was manufactured in April, but first used in May. That makes just over 18 months of active use. I have 205 cycle counts, and the design capacity hangs around 95%, though it jumps up and down based on how long it has been since I done a conditioning charge/discharge.

Let's see... I have the same one as you, and I never condition it. It's often plugged in during working hours, but not always, and I use it off battery in the evenings almost completely. 429 cycles and 89% health. My battery philosophy is "Work it until it screams."
