How do I download [or move] [or sync] music or movies from my iTunes 10 library to my 1st Gen ATV?

I can stream it, but downloading/moving/syncing -- whatever the proper term is - no longer works. And the iTunes help files are useless: They refer to tabs and processes that no longer exist in iT 10

I can't even stream movies that I rented through iTunes.

AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!

Thanks

since I am not in front of my mac or ATV, im going to try to go from memory.

I think its in the preferences>devices section, and you have to specify if you want to stream or sync on the ATV1. you might have to delete it, then re-add it and you should get a code to put into your ATV1 to re-add it to your devices.

When you choose which media/computer to join on the atv1, make sure you do not select the shared library option. Thats just for streaming.

Then in iTunes, you'll have the tabs for which things you want to Sync to that apple TV.

I'll give that a try.

It seems to be a preference file problem. I recently bought a new MacPro and did a clean install of my apps - including a clean install of iTunes 10. When I open iTunes Preferences there is no Tab for "Apple TVs". There is such a tab in iTunes Preferences on my old MacPro.

Seems just plain weird. And very annoying.

Thanks
